NRV Mushroom Club Foray Saturday, August 11th at 9:30AM in Waiteville, WV

Both years we have done the Waiteville Foray, over a dozen of us have walked, collected, and then gotten together with the books and identified several dozen different species of mushrooms each time, including many both photogenic and edible, at this wonderful location. This has been a very successful annual foray for our club!

• We will meet at Elke's house and decide how to drive/ride/park to the foray site(s) nearby.

• As always, please RSVP so we can plan, know who to wait on, know who to look for if they miss the turn (which we learned in 2010, is easy to do!)

• Let me know who wants to carpool

• We will have lunch at Elke and Nick's house; the basics will be provided and let me know what you can bring to add

• If I don't already have your cell phone number, do let me know it as as well as a home number or contact person in case of emergency

• Bring field guides, bug spray, poncho in case of light rain (we will cancel if a major storm is called for), baskets, collecting bags, and/or tackle boxes (craft boxes) for small specimens, pocket knife, hand lenses, cameras
