Detailed Designs & Drawings

Each of our themed native gardens was conceptually located on the site plan in our Master Garden Design Plan.  But, in order to more fully design and implement each of these demonstation gardens,  it was necessary to a prepare and coordinate detailed designs.  These detailed designs showed hardscape features, signage, and a planting plan for that garden.  Then, these detailed plans were used to coordinate the final designs with the Library Director prior to implementation.

In each themed garden, it is our process is to have a volunteer "Garden Champion" develop and coordinate these detailed drawings/plans.  Then, the champions lead the rest of our MNGI group to oversee the construction and maintenance of that garden.  Many of our themed gardens also have sponsors, partners, and/or collaborators who provide use with funds, technical assistance, or donated plants for that garden.  These important entities who helped to make these gardens a reality are listed in "Noteworthy Native Plants" link for each garden.

Detailed designs for each of our gardens are shown in the "Noteworthy Native Plants" link of this website which is located below this section.
