Tables of taxiway minimum separation distances

Version 4.3 of 20 September 2019

This document is edited by the Infrastructure Workgroup of The French-Speaking Airports (UAF&FA) (previously known as Les Aéroports Francophones and UAF). It was prepared by airport operators to the attention of the industry. It provides an inventory of different definitions in relation to taxiways and their characteristics, and it compares various regulatory frameworks (sheet "Def"). ICAO, Transport Canada and FAA aircraft classifications based on the geometry are presented (sheet "Cat"). With the tables of minimum separation distances and a reminder on the fundamental equations, this spreadsheet is primarily a memento on taxiway separation distances (sheets "TWY", "TL", "T-T"). The four last sheets can be printed in A3.

In addition, the attachment provides printable versions of a selection of ICAO and FAA separation distances that can be cut to fit in a wallet.
