Impact on Practices

The Infrastructure WG of The French-Speaking Airports (UAF&FA) promotes the best practices and conducts research projects in order to enhance the level of safety and the efficiency of airport infrastructure from their design to their operation and maintenance. To achieve these goals, the Infrastructure WG publishes its guidance materials on line, participates in workgroups and technical committees, and invites third parties to contribute to our projects.

Many airports apply our best practices in the field, all around the world. They use our publications and tools every day. Some of our recommended practices have been adopted by institutions such as Airports Council International (ACI), the Airport Construction Advisory Council (ACAC) of the FAA in the United States, the European Action Plan for the Prevention of Runway Incursions (EAPPRI), the National Civil Aviation Agency of Brazil (ANAC), and the 2017 Task Force on Aviation Safety during Runway Construction of the French Civil Aviation Authority (DGAC).

Have you implemented our practices in the field? Have you applied our publications and used our tools? We would like to hear from you! Your feedback is essential for improving our practices and our contents available on line! We invite you to take our short survey (5 min.) to share your case studies and lessons learned with us (see link below).
