Surveys

I created my first online survey in Assessment in E-Learning. This survey was for an imaginary World History class, but I revised it for Online Politics and Law using a Google Form. Survey responses helped me to get to know students and to identify potential areas of interest and of difficulty. Assessing student learner requires knowing from where students are starting.

I also gathered feedback on the course with an exit survey that asked the same questions. The results showed that students had a steeper learning curve than I had initially thought with the technology, but felt proficient blogging and participating in discussion forums by the end of the class.
