7:25 800 Meter Run

7:55 200 Meter Dash

8:40 3200 Meter Run

9:10 4 x 400 Relay

WE WILL RUN AHEAD OF THIS IF POSSIBLE

1. Running event check-in is in front of the racquetball courts on first floor.

2. Please try to check-in for running events approximately 20-25 minutes before it will be contested.

3. The check-in sign in the racquetball area will show which event we are currently checking in.

4. Athletes in all running events will be escorted from the racquetball court area to the track.

5. Please wait to put your spikes on until you get to the track level.

THE POLE VAULT

  1. The event shall be run using the five alive system.
  2. A competitor is allowed 1 ½ minutes to attempts a vault.
  3. If the competitor does not make the 1 ½ time limit it is counted as a trial.
  4. If six or fewer competitors remain in competition they will get 4 minutes between trials. If one competitor remains he will have 6 minutes before taking a trial.
  5. The competitors may use all of their trials. If they miss the first trial they must take the second trial. If they miss the second trial they can take the third trial or pass the trial to the next height. They can take the third trial of wait through the rotation.
  6. The vaulters must wear helmets.
  7. The starting height as well as the increase heights will be determined by meet management.
  8. The vault coaches should have a verification form for the event official to sign and date.
  9. If the competitor is in another event they should inform the event official.
  10. When the competitor leaves to go to another event they should have a time limit of 10 to 15 minutes to return to competition.
  11. The vaulters should inform the event official when they will come into competition.

THE HIGH JUMP

  1. The event should be run using the five alive system.
  2. The competitor is allowed 1 minute to attempt a trial. If the competitor does not make the attempt it is counted as a trial.
  3. If 6 or fewer competitors remain they get 3 minutes to take a trial. If one competitor remains he gets 5 minutes to take a trial.
  4. If the first jump is missed they must take the second jump immediately, or pass that jump to the next height. They can take the third jump or wait for their rotation.
  5. The starting height as well as height changes are determined by meet management.
  6. The jumper needs to inform the event official when they want to come into competition.
  7. If the jumper is going to compete in another event they should inform the event official and will have a time limit of 10 to 15 minutes to return to competition. Upon returning to the competition they will enter at the height of the bar. (meaning we will not wait at a height for them to return)

THE SHOT PUT

  1. The competitor has 1 minute to start a trial. If the competitor does not make the time limit it will count as a missed trial.
  2. The competitor should tell the event official the order of trials. EX: three trials in a row, three single trials or two trials and one trial later.
  3. If the competitor is in another event the competitor should tell the event official. They should be given a 10 to 15 minute leave. If the competitor does not make the time limit it is counted as a trial.
  4. The shot put sector should be a 34.92 sector.

THE LONG AND TRIPLE JUMP

  1. The competitor is allowed 1 minute to attempt a trial. If he jump is not completed it is counted as a missed trial.
  2. The competitor should tell the event official the order in which he will jump. EX: All three in a row, three single jumps or two jumps and one jump later.
  3. If the competitor fouls on the first jump the competitor must take the second jump. The competitor could take his third jump or wait through his rotation.
  4. If the competitor has to leave for another event the competitor must tell the event official. The competitor should be given 10 to 15 minutes to return to the event. If the competitor does not return in the 10 to 15 minute time limit it is counted as a missed trial.
