PTEXT

Quickly change multiple Text/Mtext/Attribute/Mleader/Dimension content by typing in command line or copy from a source.

INTRODUCTION

To quickly change the attribute value in a block, we can use command ATTIPEDIT. But there is no quick way to change the attriute content if it is part of a Mleader block.

PTEXT provides a shortcut to change the attribute value of a Mleader block by simply typing the new text in the command line, then pick up multiple attributes in Mleader blocks or any text content of Text/Mtext/Attribute/Dimension entities. It also works with such entities nested in a block.

Command: PTEXT
Enter new text:

Type in any text (allow spaces) at the prompt.

Press Enter without any input to pick up a source entity to get its text content.

Pick up source text to copy from:

You can pick up the text content within an source entity of a Text/Mtext/Attribute/Mleader/Dimension object. The souce object can be a block contains of any entity above.

Pick up text/attribute to change:

NOTES

  1. When input in the command line, the original text format in target Mtext may lost.
