ISS

ISS refers to "Insert Structural Steel" or "Insert Steel Section". 

Currently, it can insert steel sections commonly used in Australian as a block. 

We may expand our library in the future, implementing measurements adapting to other countries' standards.

INTRODUCTION

ISS generates and inserts commonly used structural steel section as a block.

Currently, our library contains steel section data collection of the Australian standard.

Command: ISS

You can select steel sections from 5 basic Types:

Then you can select different Shapes from selected Types:

Structural Steels:

Angle Sections:

Modified Beams:

Hollow Sections:

Purlin Sections:

Finally, you can select the intended size of the steel section.

Press "OK" to insert the steel section into the drawing.

Press "Help" to be directed to this page.

NOTES

If the selected steel block is not in the drawing, ISS will generate the steel section based on its parameters.

You can define your own steel block in advance with the same name, then use ISS to insert it.

You can also redefine the block- ISS will insert the new block for you. Note that the preview image will not be updated after the redefinition.
