How to change viewscale in multiple viewports while keeping the view extent in each viewport?

For example, an elevation in a layout contains a few viewports connected side by side in 1:100 viewscale. How to change the whole elevation into a 1:50 viewscale?

It is a time consuming task to scale each viewport at its center point, change its viewscale, then re-align each of them as the new elevation.

Solution:

Make a block from all the viewports,

Scale the block, then

Explode the block.
