HS-ETS1 Engineering Design

LEARNING GOAL: Students will gain deepening understand of an environmental/human challenge that could potentially

have an impact on their future. Through this understanding, students can be equipped with a foundational platform

through which they can bring about change and help bring resolution to these issues

Project Parameters

Working together as a group, state what the main problem is and develop a list of issues associated with a particular Global Challenge.

This should include all aspects of the challenge (statistics, predictions, etc).

Develop a hypothesis for how your topic, including all aspects effect global communities and use evidence in support.

Outline what and how challenges are different regionally around the world and how these challenges are currently faced in

each region.

Explain the environmental and human impact of these issues.

Do these issues impact us locally in Dexter and how so?

Describe potential solutions and the methods to implement these ideas to resolve issues.

Organize a class length presentation to demonstrate your knowledge of the topic

Provide diagrams, images and all details you can manage to demonstrate your objectives -- Use multi media options
