Styled on the French '75 (Iced Version), and the Commodore (from the Cafe Royal Cocktail Book, 1937):

50ml Sazerac Rye Whiskey,

25ml Fresh Lime Juice,

15ml Gomme Syrup,

2 dashes of Orange Bitters.

Shake with ice, and then strain into an ice-filled tall glass; Top with Champagne; Garnish with an orange twist.
