A few days after Christine's 15th birthday, her parents, brother Andy and four close friends celebrated the occasion with a visit to Medieval Times in Lyndhurst, N.J., for a royal feast and a tournament of knights.

Guests at Medieval Times are seated around an arena where horses and riders perform tricks, compete in feats of skill and then act out mock battles. Meanwhile dinner is served, 11th century style: There are no utensils, so everyone eats with their hands. (Anachronistic napkins and wet-wipes are provided.)

There was a story-line about a treacherous lord plotting against the king and his good knights, but the fun was in watching the riding, jousting and choreographed swordplay while pulling apart roast chicken and ribs.

In a ceremony afterwards, Christine was knighted by the king in honor of her birthday.
