Leadership Syllabus

BA 298 – Seminar in Corporate Leadership (MBA Elective)

Course Description. The course covers the essential elements of leadership, and how these elements interact to guide the executive in skillful leading.

Course Objectives. The course aims to: (1) provide students with a basic understanding of the notions, skills, and tactics whereby leaders are enabled to effectively lead their organizations; (2) provide students with knowledge of current and emerging trends in leadership, so as to make informed judgments in day-to-day leadership situations; and (3) challenge students to write a concrete Case that shows how leadership is brought to the fore in real Philippine situations.
