Anne Schopf FAIA

Anne Schopf FAIA studied architecture and engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.  She began working at Mahlum in Seattle in 1990.
A dedicated champion of design excellence with environmental stewardship and a much-honored teacher, speaker, critic and mentor, she pushes for work that expands design dialogue, cross-pollinates ideas, enriches communities and integrates approaches to green design.  In 2008 she received the Puget Sound BetterBricks Award for architecture. 
She has served on the AIA national Committee on Design (COD) Advisory Group and as a peer reviewer for the General Services Administration (GSA) Design Excellence Program, and frequently serves on juries for awards programs, including AIA Committee on the Environment (COTE) Top Ten Green Awards, AIA Academy of Architecture for Health (AAH) healthcare design awards, and the 2009 AIA National Honor Awards for Architecture.

Anne served as AIA Seattle President in 2009-10.
