  • We, Team PAH (Patientis Aerovate Honori translated to Aerovate Honors Patients) are working in partnership with Team PHenomenal Hope and Aerovate Therapeutics to raise awareness of a rare and debilitating medical condition known as Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension or PAH. PAH is a progressive illness with no known cure. People living with PAH have trouble breathing and frequently find themselves unable to do the everyday tasks that most people take for granted. To honor these patients, we believe that a locally based fundraiser in the Boston area focused on running and walking can help build community and raise funds needed to support global research projects and patient-centered programs.

    • Our team’s mission is rooted in both growing awareness of patients with PAH and the symbolic representation of running/walking for these patients who may be experiencing decreased mobility. With many ways to participate and no action being too small, anyone and everyone is welcome on Team PAH regardless of background and physical ability.

BLA Spirit Day T-shirt fundraiser

This Thursday, and Friday, the BLA chapter of the National Honors Society is hosting a t-shirt fundraising event. They will be set up between the side caff, and the main caff for each of those days during lunches! T-Shirts are $10 each, and the proceeds will go towards help a dragon (description below). The following is the idea behind the t-shirts!:

Have you ever gone to a camp, and at the end of that camp you sign each other's t-shirts? We are trying to do that here at BLA! On Spirit Day 2022, we are going to try and get as many students to wear these shirts to have everyone sign each others shirts, so that we can remember that day and each other for as long as possible. 90% of Profit will go to "Help a Dragon", the BLA fundraiser that helps pay for electricity in the winter months when certain dragons don't have the means to do so. The other 10% will help go to future NHS fundraising functions, to be able to help more people in the future.
