Mathematics

In Room ? we will be following the NZ Numeracy Programme to develop our numerical knowledge and strategies. The students will be working at their own level and needs. They will make connections to their numerical knowledge and strategies by applying this to solve real life mathematical problems.

The students also need to be able to see patterns, to locate themselves and find their way, to know about the shapes that make up the spaces around them, to measure things, to tell the time, and to understand graphs, facts and figures that are so much a part of our world now.
