Art III is a more advanced art course designed to enable students to further connect with the world around them through the lens of Visual Art. This course is for art students who want to continue their art education while working under more flexible compositions guidelines. Students will be given advanced visual problems in Drawing, 2D & 3D design and experiment with new techniques exclusive to junior and senior students only. Advanced maturity required! Students are expected to take work home and work outside of class to meet deadlines. We will complete a "Warm-Up" most days of class, often times related to observation drawing.
Prerequisite: ART II passed with a C+ or teacher approval.
Art III will display their top three best executed works at the Miner Showcase Art Walk
Students are expected to set up their own work with a printed tag for each artwork. Tags must include Artist Full Name, Title of the Artwork, and Medium used.
