While the language focuses on business, Weebly is the leading platform among educators for website creation.
• Google Sites: From the website: "Using the new Google Sites, you and your organization can easily create and publish internal team sites, project sites, event sites, or other internal sites. No technical skills are required and you can collaborate with others to create and refine Sites, just like other Google Docs." This is an excellent option for schools who have converted to G Suite for Education as it easily integrates into the Google environment for both themselves and students.
• Wordpress: From the website: "From blogs and portfolios, to online stores and more, you can do it all right here." Wordpress rose to power as the early space for blogging and since then has been a permanent fixture in the website creation landscape. It is not quite as user friendly as Weebly and plays less nicely with other services, but it is a rich, powerful tool for website creation.
