LTI Math Tools in Canvas

At YSCA we utilize a variety of online math tools including Desmos activities, Khan Academy, and DeltaMath (we recently upgraded to DeltaMath Plus). In addition to these tools, we also use two tools that offer integrations within our LMS, Canvas (we also use a few others!). Explain Everything

Explain Everything allows for synchronous virtual whiteboard collaboration with 8 individuals, as well as a robust creation tool for asynchronous video content creation. It was integral when checking-in with students as well as creating content for students working asynchronously. It also seamlessly integrates with Canvas as an LTI, which allows easy embedding of videos and virtual whiteboards within Canvas.

myOpenMath

What is myOpenMath?

myOpenMath is an open and free resource that integrates completely with Canvas offering a vast set of item banks and resources. The video above shows some of the features of myOpenMath in the myOpenMath environment. Whether or not you use Canvas you can use myOpenMath, but if you do use it on Canvas all the functionality is fully retained.
