High School Planning:
Online course directory for grades 10-12: See link on our home page. Full year courses may be added within the first 2 weeks of school and dropped before the end of the 1st quarter, without notation on a student's transcript. Set up to receive Text Reminds from YHS guidance. Students follow these steps: 1. Login to Remind through ClassLink on your Chromebooks first. 2. If it is the first time you login, you will receive a prompt to add your cell phone number. 3. You will receive a confirmation code to your phone. 4. Download the remind app and login.

College planning: winter of junior year
Visit the Junior year college planning section on this website: Meet with your counselor starting in the winter (January/February) of your junior year to discuss your college and post secondary plans. Topics covered during your meeting will include the college search, Naviance, Common Application, application deadlines, the college essay and other topics related to your future plans. Reach out to colleges to obtain the most updated information regarding changes in admissions requirements including, but not limited to, standardized testing SAT/ACT "test optional" and "score free" admissions, tours and information sessions.
