Credit recognition decisions are at the discretion of the postsecondary institution at which the student matriculates. If you enrolled in a college or AP course at Yorktown High School, it is up to your prospective college whether or not they will grant you the college credit. Some colleges use AP scores or college credits for placement purposes. Credit or placement decisions are often determined by the individual academic department at the college. Please see your prospective college website or speak with the college office of admissions to obtain information regarding their criteria for granting college "transfer" credits.
High school seniors: Following graduation, your final high school transcript is sent mid-July to the college/university you plan to attend. If you registered for and completed a college course in high school ("dual enrolled") or an AP course in high school and your college will honor college credits from another institution, select the links below to request that your AP score and/or official college transcript (that issued you the credit) be sent to the college you will attend in the fall. Note: there were specific deadlines to register for and pay for these credits when you were enrolled in these courses.
College links to request transcript in July:
Below are the links graduating seniors may use to request that their official college transcript and/or AP scores are sent to the college the are matriculating to in the fall. These credits are NOT on the high school transcript. They are only available at the college who issued the credits.
