Composer

Born in 1946, Trevor Wishart is a composer/performer from the north of England , specialized in the metamorphosis of sound and in the construction environment that makes it possible (Sound Loom / CDP). He has lived and worked as a composer in residence in Australia, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden and the United States.He creates music with his own voice, for professional bands or in groups or in fantasized worlds realized in the studio. His aesthetic and technical concepts are described in his books On Sonic Art, Audible Design and Sound Composition. He is also one of the main authors of the sound processing software 'Composers Desktop Project'. He has also been involved in community, environmental and educational projects, In 2008, he received the Giga-Herz International Grand Prize, International Lifetime Achievement Award ,and in 2018, the British Association of Songwriters' Innovation Award, Composers and Authors (BASCA).
