Your final degree classification
For the purpose of progression and award outcomes, module marks where reassessment is required will be capped at the pass mark.Â
Although the Foundation Degree in Science programme is not classified, this information will assist you gauge your academic performance. The University applies the following mark scale to undergraduate work:
First class honours: mark range 70-100
Upper second class honours: mark range 60-69
Lower second class honours: mark range 50-59
Third class honours: mark range 40-49
Fail: mark range 0-39
The pass mark for undergraduate modules is 40.
