Programme extensions and termination

Certificates are not provided for any freestanding modules. You will be sent an official academic transcript to certify the successful completion of your module. An academic transcript is a full record of your academic study at the University of York and includes marks and credits awarded. Transcripts bear the signature of the Assistant Registrar and each page bears a hologram.

The transcript will be automatically issued to you once the result has been ratified at the Board of Examiners. Board of Examiners meetings take place each term and therefore on some occasions there may be a delay of up to three months until your module’s results are presented at the Board of Examiners. Each module has to have been reviewed by the External Examiner before the results can be ratified.

The academic transcript will be posted to your current home address as recorded on the e:Vision student records system.

If you require a further copy or a replacement you will need to pay for this; details of how to do this can be found on the Request a Document website.
