Reflection
On the first day, we just started playing with reeds and we made 3 test sculptures. Then our second step was to make our final sculpture with what we had learned from our test runs. The third step we took was to glue it all together and wait. The final thing we did was make our emphasis piece for my emphasis. I added extra little pieces of reed to a piece of reed in the middle of my sculpture. In my sculpture, I see variety with where I made my reed reach out into space and the sizes of my loops. What I have learned is to make sure that you are staying creative and doing your own thing. Yes, it’s okay to get inspiration from someone else but you want to be turning in your own work and ideas.
