Purpose:
Make a slab mug to practice connecting slabs and handles securely. Consciously follow a color scheme when planning and glazing.
I learned a lot about how to securely connect slabs of clay during this assignment, and it was very helpful in preparing me for my narrative mug assignment. I think my most succesful part of my mug was the glaze contrast and application. The color sits really well in the texuture and I think it's unique and eye-catching. I am also proud of how secure my handle is, since that took me the most time and troubleshooting.
