We started with learning and watching some artists who used space. And then we got wet reeds to mold and took 3 photos of designs we loved to most. After we got out favorite mold we let it dry and put paper clips in the intersections. After it dried we glued it and let that dry finally we put on the area of emphasis and here we are now
In my sculpture, I have long stretches of reed curves, I have a lot of short little bursts in my art that make my art have a burst feeling.
That there is beauty in simplicity
Purpose of the project
To understand how a line can be used to create a three-dimensional form
To create a sculpture that considers balance and repetition, variety and emphasis
To learn about sculpture artists and where they find their inspiration
