Purpose:
To become familiar with and practice basic photo editing and other photoshop tools;
To think about your photographs in a different way;
To use conceptual skills to make purposeful artistic decisions
Move Tool - This tool allows me to select a part of my photograph and move it around and/or change the size of it to better fit my image.
Quick Selection Tool - The quick selection tool allows me to highlight parts of my image. I could highlight myself and my dad and tamper with other parts of the picture without affecting certain things.
Crop Tool - Crop tool allows me to change the size of my image and cut out parts I don't want.
Eraser tool - The eraser tool allows me to delete certain coloring I might have done during the process of changing my photographs.
Quick Mask Mode - This tool allowed me to color in the background of my running photo to make the background black and white.
I think my emphasis with color was more successful because it looks much more seamless and real and I can tell my combining image one is fake due to certain flaws in the photoshop process. There are cut off parts in my combining images one and I am just overall more proud of my emphasis with color. My photoshop knowledge was really put to the test with the combining images one.
