Organization of Student Spanish or French Binder
Label each divider: 1) Bellringers 2) New vocabulary / Classwork 3) Handouts 4) Graded Assessments
Daily Classwork will be posted in Google Classroom Daily. The dates for end of unit assessments and interim quizzes will be posted on our Google Classroom Calendar, with reminders to study given in class and posted on the stream of our Google Classroom. If students miss class, they are responsible for checking and completing any classwork or homework posted as assignments on the Google Classroom. All make-up work due to absence is to be completed according to school policy (see handbook). If an assignment is not understood or completed on time, students may be asked for extra help during study hall, and it is expected that the student will then turn in their work.
Classroom expectations:
Respect your teacher, your classmates, and the classroom. Expect respect in return. Ask questions and communicate any concerns in a friendly manner. Together, we can solve any problem.
Use the restroom before class, or during a moment of down time (not during the first 5 minutes, instructional time, or the last 5 minutes)
No gum in class, snacks with permission only (with the expectation of being vigilant and respectful of any food allergies). Please come to class with a filled water bottle.
Students learn best in a calm and respectful environment. Students will be asked to stay after school if their behavior is disruptive and phone call home will be made to talk about expectations for our classroom learning environment.
