Reflection: To establish cohesion, you want to create a sense of unity within your pieces. I did this by my color choices and the design I used. I chose very vibrant colors so that they would come out bright, and painted on mini lines to connect them visually. One thing I learned from this project would be learning how to throw. This project is an example of throwing and putting our skills to the test. Making our bowls similar in size was a challenge, but using the Tombo made it easier to make sure they were related. Another thing I learned from this project was the importance of the connection between bowls in a set. This is significant because the requirement for this project was that they be cohesive in a way. The last thing I learned was how to manage my time when it comes to ceramics. For this project, I decided to use my time wisely and give myself time to focus on the design. I came in after school two days in a row to try to complete them before the deadline, which really paid off.
