Purpose:

To practice looking at colors in your compositions.
Spray Paint
I was driving to my house and the bright color of some spray paint on the road caught my eye and I decided to walk down and photograph it. It represented bold colors really well.
Maine Ice Cream Stand
I was driving in Harpswell and the bright mural on the side of an ice cream stand stood out to me. After taking the first photo I decided to add the red and white umbrella and the wooden shingles into the picture.
The Golden Arches
One of the first ideas I had to photograph was the gold and red McDonalds sign. I went by one of the signs and I liked how the streetlights and power lines added to the photo. With the blue sky and the yellow and red sign, the photo represents the primary color scheme really well.
