Resum

The soundtrack is a crucial element that gives meaning and expression to cinematographic works.

The preparation of the research work was carried out with the intention of making the reader aware of the important relationship between image and sound, and at the same time conveying my passion for music and cinema.

The research work is structured in four theoretical and two practical points. The first four consist of the definition of soundtrack, the detailed explanation of the sectors that make it up (voice, sound effects, music, silence), its origins and its evolution in three stages (classical symphony, the main theme, new symphony). As for the practical points, the first consists of a short survey around the viewing of a video and its interpretation, and the second by an interview with the specialist in music and health, Patricia Caicedo. These last two points were key to verify that the soundtrack influences the perception that the viewer receives regarding the images and the plot of the film.

La banda sonora és un element crucial que dóna sentit i expressió a les obres cinematogràfiques.

L’elaboració del treball d’investigació es va dur a terme amb la intenció de conscienciar al lector de la important relació entre imatge i so, i alhora transmetre la meva passió per la música i el cinema.

El treball de recerca s’estructura en quatre punts teòrics i dos de pràctics. Els primers quatre consisteixen en la definició de banda sonora, l’explicació detallada dels sectors que la formen (veu, efectes de so, música, silenci), els seus orígens i la seva evolució en tres etapes (simfonisme clàssic, el tema principal, nou simfonisme). Pel que fa als punts pràctics, el primer està format per una enquesta breu entorn al visionat d'un vídeo i la seva interpretació, i el segon per una entrevista a

l’especialista en música i salut, Patricia Caicedo. Aquests dos últims punts van ser claus per verificar que la banda sonora influeix en la percepció que l’espectador rep respecte a les imatges i l’argument del film.
