Abstract

Resum

Based on the personal interest in allergies due to their influences nowadays, the main objectives of this research are: to detect the areas of Palafrugell where more people with respiratory allergies live and work, and to sample pollen that arrives in Palafrugell to verify the relationship. 

To do this, research has been carried out on topics of interest related on, specially, respiratory allergies. Secondly, a survey has been carried out to find out about the allergies suffered by the people living in Palafrugell, and, above all, if they notice changes in the symptoms when they move from one area of the town to another.

In addition, samples have been analysed, subsequently arranged and renewed weekly for eight weeks in three locations of Palafrugell, to find out from what species pollen comes from and the amount of pollen that arrives at each sampling point. 

All this is done with the aim of providing help and knowledge to people with allergies in Palafrugell.

Partint de l'interès personal per les al·lèrgies a causa de la seva influència avui dia, els objectius principals d'aquesta investigació són: detectar les zones de Palafrugell on viuen i treballen més persones amb al·lèrgies respiratòries, i fer un mostreig de pòl·lens, per comprovar la relació entre aquests dos objectius.

Per això, s’ha fet recerca sobre temes d'interès relacionats especialment amb les al·lèrgies de tipus respiratori. Llavors, s’ha publicat una enquesta per conèixer les al·lèrgies que pateixen els palafrugellencs i, sobretot, si noten canvis en els símptomes quan passen d'estar en una zona a una altra del poble.

A més, s’ha analitzat mostres renovades setmanalment durant vuit setmanes a tres localitzacions de Palafrugell, per, així, conèixer de quines espècies arriba pol·len i l'abundància d’aquest en cada punt de mostreig.

Tot això, s’ha fet amb la finalitat de brindar ajuda i coneixement als al·lèrgics de Palafrugell.
