We are learning how to plan more colourfully for the welfare of our students
In recent years in our school it has become clear that we urgently need to expand methodologies to address the diversity and integration of an increasingly multicultural student body. The immigrant population of our town is growing and from our practice we perceive signs of social segregation in youth behaviors and also in methodologies that do not take into account the family, and the emotional and motivational backgrounds of our students. Therefore, we see the need to train our teachers to welcome and accompany not only students who face the challenges of adapting to a new community often full of prejudices, but also to understand and transform the vision of local students who receive their peers influenced by lack of knowledge or fear of difference.
The internationalization of our school through community projects, via Erasmus +, eTwinning and other European educational platforms, with other institutions with similar concerns and needs can bring new ideas, approaches and also motivations to our teachers to find new methodologies to address our reality.
In this website you can find all information and evidences of our the participation in the ERASMUS KA 101 programme 2021-22 called MOVE ON FOR DIVERSITY, which will provide teacher training to our stuff and new resulting learning projects to our students.
