SEMINAR COORDINATION OF NETWORK OF SCHOOLS WITH ERASMUS PROJECTS IN THE VALLÈS ORIENTAL I (Seminari de Coordinació Xarxa de centres amb Projectes Erasmus al Vallès Oriental I ).

The CRP VOI has created and organized a coordination seminar between primary and secondary schools in the area that are developing Erasmus+ projects. The Erasmus project coordinators from the schools participate in this seminar.

The aim is to exchange experiences and create joint actions that raise awareness of Europe and the Erasmus+ objectives in the area. Twenty teachers from 17 schools participated.

SCHOOL INTERNAZIONALIZATION SEMINAR

The CRP VOI has created and organized the Internationalization Seminar for the area. It is a coordination seminar between foreign language teachers (mainly English). 

Its objectives are as follows:

• To identify, share, and design internationalization strategies that promote the opening of educational schools to the European environment, through collaborative projects, mobility programs, and other opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ program, expanding the learning environments of students and the professional development of foreign language teachers.

• Explore innovative methodologies and practices to improve communicative competence in English, especially oral expression and interaction, both in the classroom and in real-life and international contexts.

• Promote networking between schools in the area, encouraging the creation of stable synergies between English teachers and the implementation of specific actions that highlight the European dimension of the schools (Erasmus+ projects, eTwinning, virtual exchanges, European cultural activities, etc.).

Thirty teachers from 25 schools participated.

PRESENTATION OF EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES FOR WORKING ON THE EUROPEAN UNION IN CLASSROOM

The CRP VOI has presented resources for teaching about the European Union in the classroom to teachers at seminars in the area (Seminari Xarxa de centres amb Projectes Erasmus al Vallès Oriental I and Seminari Internacionalització dels centres). Here is the presentation.

CELEBRATION OF EUROPE DAY WITH LOCAL SCHOOLS

The CRP VOI, together with local primary schools, has organized an activity to celebrate Europe Day on May 9.

Sixth-grade students have organized traditional games from different European Union countries to play with their peers from different schools, using English as the language of communication at all times.

Thirteen coordinating teachers from 11 schools participated in the Erasmus+ School Network seminar at VOI, and 29 English teachers from 23 schools participated in the Internationalization Seminar.

INFOGRAPHICS ON THE EUROPEAN UNION AND THE PRIORITIES OF THE ERASMUS+ PROGRAM

The CRP VOI  together with the schools in the consortium has created four infographics on:

- What is the EU?

- The EU's objectives and values

- The institutions of the EU

- The priorities of the Erasmus+ program

It has disseminated this information to all schools in the area via email, seminars, Erasmus Days, the website, and social media.

Thirteen coordinating teachers from 11 schools participated in the Erasmus+ School Network seminar at VOI, and 21 English teachers from 18 schools participated in the Internationalization Seminar.

As part of the seminar, we have begun working on the document, among other aspects: Supporting citizenship education through etwinning.

CELEBRATION OF THE 2025 ERASMUS DAYS IN THE VALLÈS ORIENTAL

The CRP VOI, together with primary and secondary schools in the area that have Erasmus+ projects, has organized again a joint Erasmus Days event, with the participation of Granollers City Council in La Porxada of Granollers, the main square of the city.
