SUMMARY OF THE KA121 PROJECT (2022)
We started by forming the CRP VOI consortium with seven public primary schools in the area. In our area, we are responsible for 23 public primary schools and 6 charter schools.
Four schools had already been part of the previous CRP VOI Erasmus+ Key Action 1 project (2020-1-ES01-KA101-080347), and three more schools wanted to join after a public call for participation was made as part of the Primary School Management Seminar coordinated by CRP VOI.
In the first year of the program, we have focused our mobility efforts on working on the following aspects of the Erasmus Plan:
1. Begin training in sustainability issues and visit schools with sustainability projects.
2. Visit schools where the development of digital competence among teachers and students can be observed.
3. Train ourselves in more innovative methodological strategies and project-based work following the STEAM methodology.
4. Observing the inclusive strategies practiced by the European schools we visit in order to apply methodologies that help personalize learning for all students, including those with special educational needs.
To this end, we had a budget of €33,663.00.
The following mobility activities have been carried out:
15 job shadowing mobility activities in the following countries
2 mobilities to Escola Básica Integrada Francisco Ferreira Drummond (Terceira, Açores, Portugal)
2 mobilities to Szkola Podstawowa 11 (Inowroclaw, Poland)
2 mobilities to Mārupe State gymnasium (Riga, Latvia).

HOW DO WE GET ORGANIZED?
The first step was to get organized, so we created two types of teams:
Erasmus+ management team
Erasmus+ coordination team in each school
The team is formed by a member of the management team of each school and the CRP coordinator.
Meetings once per month.
Shared Drive.
Composed of 4-6 teachers from the school
Perform the tasks set by the management team.
FUNCTIONS OF THE ERASMUS+ MANAGEMENT TEAM
Design and plan the Erasmus+ project in line with the educational goals of the consortium.
Coordinate activities among all participating schools.
Ensure the successful achievement of the project’s objectives (mobility, training, innovation, etc.).
Apply for and justify the Erasmus+ grant to the National Agency (e.g., SEPIE in Spain).
Manage the overall consortium budget and distribute funds to participating schools.
Establish common, public and transparent selection criteria for teachers participating in mobilities.
Coordinate the linguistic, pedagogical, and logistical preparation of selected staff.
Monitor and evaluate the mobilities carried out.
Assist with resolving logistical or administrative issues at the school level.

Collaborate in the preparation of interim or final reports when requested.
PROCESS FOR SELECTING PARTICIPANTS IN MOBILITY PROGRAMS
The following protocol was followed for the selection process of teachers participating in job shadowing and structured courses:
1. The mobility opportunities assigned to each school were published: two job shadowings and one structured course. (This distribution was carried out equally among the seven member schools of the consortium and the CRP VOI).
2. The selection criteria and the application form were published.
3. The Erasmus+ management team acted as the Evaluation Committee, responsible for collecting all applications, evaluating them, and assigning the selected participants.
4. All agreements were recorded at the evaluation meeting.
For the student selection process, the Erasmus Management Team agreed that two students from each school's upper cycles would participate in the exchange.
To select the student who will participate in this exchange, the school will have a selection committee. The committee will be made up of members of the management team, the project coordinator, and other teachers who have an impact on the selection of students.
Two things will need to be done by students:
Express your willingness to travel and sign the educational commitment letter.
Send a video in English detailing the reasons why you want to participate. If necessary, once the selection criteria have been established, a personal interview will be conducted.
Candidates will be selected according to the following criteria (each of which scores 10 points) :
Good behavior and responsibility towards school work in all areas.
Ability to work in a team.
Interest and active involvement in the subject and activities of the project.
Ability and willingness to communicate in English (the level of English will not be decisive).
Motivation to learn.
Ability to assimilate knowledge and progress.
Willingness to learn from experience.
Interest in interacting in an international group.
Interest in learning about other countries and realities.
Self-confidence.
Others (tiebreaker criteria):
Family connection with the school
* Socially disadvantaged students who meet all of the above requirements will be given preference in the selection process.
The selection committee will award each candidate a score from 1 to 5 for each element of the criteria. A list will be drawn up with the scores obtained. In the event of a tie, a public draw will be held among those with the highest scores.
In the event of the cancellation of a selected student, the next student on the reserve list will be invited to participate in the mobility program.
