Mrs. Massaro

Elementary School Counselor

Berkeley School

I am fortunate to be a part of the WWRSD community since 2012. My previous experience includes elementary teacher and school counselor in various districts in the area. As school counselor Berkeley School, I am committed to working with the students to maximize their academic, social, and emotional development, focusing on the whole child. In addition to working with students, I believe that communication between home and school is an essential component to the success of our students. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions and/or concerns you may have.

In addition to counseling students individually, I also conduct small group counseling and whole class lessons. I am a member of the Intervention and Referral Services team and serve on the 504 Committee for Berkeley School. Lastly, I serve as the Anti-Bullying Specialist for Berkeley School. For more information regarding the Westwood Regional School District's Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying Policy, click here.

I look forward to a positive, successful year for all the students. By developing positive coping strategies, appropriate social skills, and successful conflict resolution methods, I hope to help students create a "toolbox" that they will be able to use as they travel through elementary school and beyond.
