Our students work so hard all year long and in June we are able to celebrate all of the social, academic, and emotional growth made!
Summer is a time to recharge batteries and enjoy hard earned rest!
Below are some tips and sites to keep those creative juices flowing while enjoying the R and R!
- Enjoy some reading daily. Area libraries have some engaging summer incentive programs.
- Have your child pick up a journal and draw or write about the things they do. It can become a wonderful keepsake of Summer adventures.
- Keep some structure in long Summer days so school routines won’t be hard to readjust to.
- Set limits on technology and devices and enjoy the wonders of Summer.
- Challenge your children to create a “bucket list” and see how many things they can accomplish.
- Plant a garden together and plan some meals using the items that grow.
