Chat with Chelsea
Chat with Chelsea is back! The dates are as followed:
- Monday, March 2nd in Lakewood from 9am to 10am
- Tuesday, March 3rd in Westminster from 9am to 10am
- Thursday, March 5th in Evergreen from 9:30am to 10:30am
This semester our topics are open! So think about what you'd like to discuss with our Director in charge! Example topics could be: field trip ideas, class feedback, questions about events or processes, etc. Light snacks and beverages will be provided. To RSVP please fill out a Chat with Chelsea form.
We look forward to seeing you all there!
Musical Theater Tickets
Musical Theater tickets will be available to purchase online starting next week!
There are two price option:
- $4 for Dwarf Seating
- $5 for Evil Queen Seating
Tickets will go on-sale the week of March 2nd, ONLINE ONLY.

Online ticket sales will close a week before the show.

Upcoming Spirit Weeks!
March 9th - 13th Pajama Day
- Wear your favorite PJ's to school! Enjoy your HSC day in total comfort and style.
- PJ's must be school appropriate and slippers are welcomed, but it's recommended that the student bring an alternative pair of shoes for gym classes and recess.
March 30th - April 3rd HSC Spirit Week! Dress Like...
- Monday, March 30th - Dress like your Favorite Animal
- Tuesday, March 31st - Dress like a Book/Movie Character
- Wednesday, April 1st - Dress like a Book/Movie Character
- Thursday, April 2nd - Dress like a Book/Movie Character
- Friday, April 3rd - Dress like a Magical Character
Yearbook Ordering
Yearbooks are now available for purchase! Cost is $15 per yearbook and will include pictures from all HSC days & locations.

Evaluations
This time of year we get a lot of questions regarding evaluations and testing. Kimberly J. Almas is a former HSC parent who specializes in evaluations for homeschool students. If interested in contacting Kim for evaluations please review her flyer for more information.

Classroom & Location Reminders
- For all future field trips or HSC events please email hscevents@wwahomeschool.org.
- If you feel like you are NOT receiving all the emails please contact Ms. Chelsea ASAP so we can check your notification settings in Jeffco Connect.
- Check out our brand NEW Teacher's Page on our website! This page is currently growing and improving, so keep checking back as we make changes to it over the next few months.
- Check back every week for Ms. Holly's cooking recipes!
- Our Evergreen location is NUT FREE, please refrain from packing any type of nuts in your student's lunch and snack.
- Look out for upcoming MONTHLY field trips. For field trip ideas, questions, or to sign up please email hscevents@wwahomeschool.org
- It's encouraged to label all backpacks, water bottles, and lunch boxes so that your student comes home with them at the end of the day.
- Please remember to bring Tennis Shoes for all Physical Education Classes (Martial Arts, Games, Energize, etc). Squashed toes are never fun!
- Musical Theater Students please remember to print your script at home and bring it to school every week. If you are unable to print please email Ms. Hayley
- It is fully winter outside! Please send your students with appropriate attire as we try to go outside for recess each day.

Hello Homeschool Connection Parents,
I am heading up the Scholastic Reading Club this year for Ms. Chelsea and wanted to let everyone know how easy it is to order books for your young people! Scholastic offers great prices on a wide variety of books for kids of all reading levels. After your first order online you will receive a credit for a free book (Worth up to $5.00, first time scholastic users only) on your next online order. Each month there are always multiple books available for just $1. You can find them on the magazine cover page!

February Highlights
For being such a short month, February proved to be quite eventful! We started off the month with our Valentine's Day celebration. Students were encouraged to bring boxes and write out Valentine's to their friends. Our students never fail to impress us with their creativity and ingenuity. To see the array of unique boxes we received every day please visit our Facebook page.
Then, we closed out the month with our February field trip to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. There we explored The Science Behind Pixar exhibit, where our STEAM and Science fanatics were able to engage with the magic behind making the Pixar films. Our staff had a wonderful time and we hope your family did too if you were able to join us.
