On this page you will find a range of links to a variety of online CPD courses for staff. Whilst we are all working from home it is a good opportunity to spend some time keeping our skills and knowledge up to date, or to expand our knowledge in areas relevant to our job.
As a partner institution, Edge Hill University has shared with us a curated (and ongoing) list of courses and resources to support with online learning. As they say themselves, "these are not recommendations, just suggestions and you will be best placed to select what works for you." However, I would definitely check out the specific section with links for teachers.
This is EXCELLENT!!!!!!
A new ETF guide to remote working that will help colleagues support students based at home is now available.

We provide training support for teachers and trainers in using educational technology (EdTech),hosted on our Enhance Digital Teaching Platform. The support is through two key ways:
How to use EdTech to teach: If you want to learn how to develop your teaching practice using educational technology (EdTech), there are online modules mapped to our Digital Teaching Professional Framework.
How to develop your Essential Digital Skills: If you want to develop your essential digital skills and prepare to teach courses for the new legal digital entitlement, the online modules are mapped to the national standards.
Visit the ETF courses support page to discover the range of platforms offering first class CPD resources specifically for teachers, trainers, managers and leaders in the Further Education (FE) and Training sector.
Over the last few weeks the ETF recorded a series of free, online webinars to support colleagues across the FE sector who work from home to support students. The webinars, available through the ETF’s booking system, are:

It's like Netflix for professional development! Watch one, watch 'em all, watch them over and over! But watch before January 8, when the encore to the summit ends and all of the videos become unavailable.
Please discuss any training you would like to undertake with your line manager, before starting any course.
