Google Forms let you organise and manage event registrations, create quizzes, analyse responses and much more. With Google Forms, you can create and analyse surveys right in your mobile or web browser—no special software required. You get instant results as they come in. And, you can summarise survey results at a glance with charts and graphs.
Like with all Google applications, you can access Google Forms for FREE through your College log-in details and share with students and staff.
To be able to create your Google Form, you will need to log into your College account through Google by pressing the '9 Dots' on any Google webpage and click on 'Google Forms'
You will then be greeted with the start up screen for Google Forms which allows you to start creating a form.
There are options to use templates as well as creating a new Form from scratch.
Once you have picked your template for your form, you can start to name your form and give it a description. Whatever you name your form, it will be saved to your Google Drive with that title.
When you add questions, you can choose between a number of different options, such as Multiple Choice Questions and Short Answer Questions.
There is an 'Auto-Fill' component for Google Forms which will pick the specific question format depending the question you type.
You can then add your own answers and options when creating your questions.
Once you have created your first questions, you can add new questions and sections.
These include:
Add Question - Add New Question into the form
Import Questions - Import questions from a form that has already been created
Add Title and Descriptions - Add a title and description to a specific question
Add Images - Add an image to a question
Add Video - Add a video to a question
Add Section - Create a new section of questions
Once you have completed your form, you can send it to have responses. To do this you will need to click the 'Send' button in the top right hand corner.
You will then have different options on how this can be sent, by either as a link or through an email.
