Hispanic Heritage Month

CHS observed Hispanic Heritage Month in September and October. Throughout the month, classes shared information and learned about important dates in history, We capped off Hispanic Heritage month with a cultural fair in the courtyard on Oct. 17, 2025. Indic Heritage Month

CHS observed Indic Heritage month in January. We decorated bulletin boards, played trivia games and had morning announcements about the Indic Region. Click here to see pics and more!
Lunar New Year
(February 17, 2026)
CHS celebrated the Lunar New Year with a Lion Dance parade. We also visited school #27 to teach 4th graders all about Lunar New Year! Link to more information coming soon.
Black History Month

Throughout the month of February, CHS honored Black History with various events like spirit week, a Soul Food Dinner, bake sales and bulletin boards.
Women's History Month

We celebrated Women's History Month with bulletin boards celebrating prominent and notable women in history.
