Students celebrated Indic Heritage Month with a few rounds of trivia!
Some of the fun facts from our trivia game: 

1. Though Bengali is the national language of Bangladesh, there are other Bangladeshi languages such as Riang, Shendu, Khasi, and Hanjong.

2. In Pakistan, there is a mosque called Badshahi Mosque. This mosque is located in Lahore, Pakistan and was built in the Mughal-era or 1671. This is the largest mosque in the world and the prayer hall can hold about 95,00 worshippers. 

3. Located in India is the Ganges River. It stretches 2,510km or 1,560 miles. It flows from northern India to Bangladesh. This river's basin supports hundreds of millions of people. 

4. In Nepal there is an ancient religious complex, Swayambhunath Stupa, located at the top of a hill on the Kathmandu valley, west of Kathmandu City. The name of this place means “Sublime Trees’ in Tibetan. This stupa is one of the holiest in Nepal. 

5. Dochla Pass is a mountain pass in the snow covered Himalayas within Bhutan. It is a 10,171 ft high mountain pass, built to honor the bravery and sacrifices of the fourth king who died during the battle against insurgents.
