The West Shore School District is dedicated to excellence, and we are excited to provide a High School Summer Credit Program for our families. All courses are supervised by WSSD staff, and our team is here to assist you!
HOW CAN I MAKE MY PAYMENT?
Families have two options to pay in full by the deadlines provided.
Online through LINQ: https://www.wssd.k12.pa.us/StudentAccounts.aspx
Personal check: If you choose to pay by personal check, please print your completed form response, attach your check made out to West Shore School District, and submit it to your guidance office secretary by the specified dates.
WHEN IS PAYMENT DUE?
Please make sure to complete your payment by the specified due date, as we cannot accept late payments. The total amount is due by the following dates:
Acceleration: Wednesday, May 21 at 12:00 PM
Credit Recovery: Thursday, June 12 at 3:00 PM

0.5 credit - $175 per course

Credit Acceleration: June 2 - July 23, 2025
2025 CREDIT ACCELERATION COURSES are available for current high school students interested in taking a course for the first time for original course credit. These acceleration courses contain the full course content and require a greater time commitment from the student. Only a limited selection of courses for acceleration are available online through ExCEL (CAOLA) or Schoology, and these courses will be monitored by West Shore staff.
Acceleration (0.5 Credit) - $200
Math Acceleration (1.0 Credit) - $300
Schoology & Aquaponics - $130

*All Acceleration courses offered through ExCEL are worth 0.5 credits, except for math courses, which are valued at 1.0 credit.
English Credit Acceleration* Credit Acceleration in English will require a substantial time commitment. The course may require up to 5+ hours per day and eight weeks for completion.

Math Credit Acceleration* Credit Acceleration in Math will require a substantial time commitment. The course may require 4-5+ hours per day depending upon the student's performance on the diagnostic exam.

Credit Recovery: June 18 - July 23, 2025
2025 CREDIT RECOVERY COURSES are available for current high school students to retake a class previously taken but failed by the student. These credit recovery courses contain only the essential course content and can be completed in a very condensed time frame over the summer program. All credit recovery courses will be delivered online through ExCEL (CAOLA), are self-paced and will be monitored by West Shore staff.
