Credit Acceleration

0.5 credit - $200 per course

1.0 credit - $300 per course

Credit Recovery 

0.5 credit - $175 per course

1.0 credit - $250 per course 

Form closes May 18th at 3:00pm

Credit Acceleration: June 1 - July 22

CREDIT ACCELERATION COURSES are available for current high school students interested in taking a course for the first time for original course credit. These acceleration courses contain the full course content and require a greater time commitment from the student.  Only a limited selection of courses for acceleration are available online through ExCEL (CAOLA) or Schoology, and these courses will be monitored by West Shore staff. 

Acceleration (0.5 Credit) - $200

Acceleration (1.0 Credit)  - $300

*All Acceleration courses offered through ExCEL are worth 0.5 credits, except for math courses, which are valued at 1.0 credit.

*Credit Acceleration in English will require a substantial time commitment. The course may require up to 5+ hours per day and eight weeks for completion.

Credit Recovery: June 17 - July 22

CREDIT RECOVERY COURSES are available for current high school students to retake a class previously taken but failed by the student. These credit recovery courses contain only the essential course content and can be completed in a very condensed time frame over the summer program.  All credit recovery courses will be delivered online through ExCEL (CAOLA), are self-paced and will be monitored by West Shore staff.
