• Take ownership of your learning ~ engage in every course each school day.

• Log in daily and make progress according to the pacing guide.

• Complete orientation and diagnostics on your first day.

• Turn in all assignments on time.

📘 Policies & Integrity

• Follow all ExCEL and WSSD Student Handbook policies.

• Maintain academic integrity ~ complete your own work.

• Never share your login or use someone else’s credentials.

• Use your real name in all communications and submissions.

💬 Communication & Support

• Check WSSD email and ExCEL messages at least twice daily.

• Communicate regularly with your Online Teacher Monitors and Learning Advisor.

• Attend office hours and required virtual or in-person meetings.

• Inform staff in advance about any planned, excused absences.

• Report tech issues immediately ~ lack of communication doesn’t excuse missed work.

🌐 Digital Citizenship

• Use appropriate language, grammar, and common sense in all electronic communication.

• Follow the WSSD Email and Acceptable Use Policy.

• Be a respectful and responsible digital citizen.

🧡 Home & School Connection

• Stay connected by participating in district-sponsored events, clubs, and activities.

• Work with a supportive Learning Coach who helps monitor progress, grades, and course updates.
