The District is excited to provide students with a chance to earn .5 credit or recover .5 or 1.0 credits through our 8 week Semester 2 Credit Program. Courses are offered through ExCEL and are monitored by WSSD teachers. To support student success, there is a limit of one course across all offerings. These courses demand a considerable time commitment, so students who wish to take advantage of this opportunity should be prepared to dedicate a few hours each day to their studies. Please enroll only if you feel confident in your ability to manage the course workload.

👆🏼 To help you succeed, the ExCEL Team will keep an eye on your pace and progress during the scheduled check-in dates. If students fall behind, they may be at risk of being removed from the program. Remember, you can always ask for help if you need it!
As long as students stick to the deadlines and log in regularly, they should be in good shape. This program moves quickly, so students should plan to dedicate several hours each day to meet the requirements successfully. You can do it! Stay motivated and don’t hesitate to reach out for support when needed. We’re here to help you!
Students have 8 weeks to complete both parts (if applicable) of their courses for credit recovery or acceleration.
