Deadlines and late work (all classes)
Work is due when it's due. If you need additional time, ask me before the assignment is due and tell me the reason. [NOTE: "I didn't feel like doing it/ get around to it" is not a valid reason.]
This applies to all out of class work. The world after high school requires you to meet deadlines, whether you find yourself in the workplace, college, a training program, or the military. Let's start getting used to it right now.

Daily Do Now responses: Daily responses will be a "Do Now" quick response, and will count towards attendance in class. You'll have a few minutes at the beginning of class time every day to complete these. All responses will be part of both academic and HOW grades. These responses are not eligible for retakes.
Important Information for Room 202
*Phones need to be silent and put away in the box provided at the start of class, where they'll remain until class is over (this includes during a bathroom break).
*Chromebooks are with you and charged, in your backpacks until needed, ready for the day. Extra Chromebooks and chargers are not available. Plan accordingly.
*Bathroom breaks should not be taken at key times (during discussion, explaining an assignment, etc.). Sign out on the clipboard near the door and take the lanyard pass. On return, record the time on the clipboard.
*Moving around the room (because you may be worried about sitting for 75 minutes) - some movement is built into class activities, but if you need to throw something away or sharpen a pencil, please wait until a break in the action. Your need to move can't interrupt the learning of others.
