I grew up in various small New England towns, finally landing in Brattleboro in 1996, where I attended BUHS.
After high school, I went to UVM and graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre: Costume Design and Construction. I’ve worked for Lost Nation Theater in Montpelier, Vermont Stage Company in Burlington, and the Peterborough Players. I’ve been a Production Stage Manager, Costume Designer/Shop Manager, and I spent almost ten years working in banking.
In 2017, I earned my Master of Education, Literacy and Language Arts, from New England College. I’ve taught financial literacy lessons at several schools in Londonderry, NH, worked at Keene High School, and taught Title I Literacy at Bellows Falls Union High School. This is my sixth year at BUHS, and I’m thrilled to be a part of the faculty.
I live in West Chesterfield, NH with my firefighter husband, two highly energetic daughters (ages 13 and 9), and two curious (and sometimes crazy!) calico kittens. In my spare time, I’m probably doing Zumba, reading, cooking, or spending time with my family. We love to be outside, either swimming, kayaking, cycling, or hiking in the summer, or snow-shoeing and sledding in the winter.
