Fit For Life

Freeflow - Fitness for Life is a comprehensive course designed to empower students with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle throughout their lives. This course integrates various components of fitness, nutrition, and wellness to provide a holistic approach to personal health and physical well-being. This course is required for graduation, no substitutions, including participation in athletics.

Conditioning

Freeflow - Conditioning is a dynamic and comprehensive program aimed at enhancing students' physical fitness, athletic performance, and overall well-being. This class will provide students with the knowledge, tools, and practical skills necessary to improve their strength, endurance, flexibility, and agility, ensuring they are better prepared for the physical demands of various sports and daily life.

Individualized Lifetime Activities

Freeflow - Individual Lifetime Activities is designed to empower students with the knowledge and skills necessary to lead an active and healthy lifestyle through individual and small group physical activities. This course offers a diverse range of lifetime sports, fitness routines, and recreational activities that can be enjoyed well beyond high school. It emphasizes personal wellness, self-motivation, and the development of physical skills that contribute to lifelong health and well-being.

Participation Skills and Techniques

Freeflow - Participation Skills and Techniques is a comprehensive program designed to engage students in a variety of physical activities, sports, and fitness experiences. It aims to develop fundamental physical skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and an understanding of the importance of physical fitness for lifelong health and well-being. This course encourages students to become active participants in physical activities that align with their personal interests and abilities.

PE Elective - Fitness Hour

Freeflow - Students will build a workout with the teacher each week that would take the student about 4-5 hours per week to do. Students would sign-in and sign-out with the teacher each time they come in so a log can be made for verification. Workouts would be in a way that will fit the student the best. It is important to realize that everyone begins this course, and progresses through this course at their own rate, as they reach their individual goals. Must take to Mrs. Fredrickson before starting.

Yoga

Freeflow - Yoga is designed to introduce students to the ancient practice of yoga, which combines physical postures, breathing exercises, and mindfulness techniques to enhance physical health, mental clarity, and emotional well-being. This course provides students with the opportunity to explore the various aspects of yoga, helping them develop physical fitness, flexibility, and stress management skills.
