Enrollment Period by Term/Quarter   No Exceptions

1st Semester: 

• Term/Quarter 1  August 18 - August 29

• Term/Quarter 2  October 27 - November 7

2nd Semester:

• Term/Quarter 3  January 12 - January 23

• Term/Quarter 4  March 23 - April 10

Students taking online classes are expected to log in daily and follow the due dates and complete 

all Modules, Final Exams and/or Projects, that are assigned.

STUDENT GUIDE to Innovation Online Classes 

EXPECTATION FOR ALL ONLINE CLASSES:

Students will…

• Log into CANVAS and check email DAILY

• Submit assignments on or before due dates

• Complete 1 Module a week, in each class (at a minimum)

• Complete ALL Modules, in each class by the Due Dates (there are no extensions) 

• Complete every step within a Module. Don’t skip Modules 

• Work ahead of the weekly scheduled Modules, if so desired

• Contact teachers through CANVAS email for questions (DON’T use a personal email)

• Submit their own work! (plagiarism is absolutely not acceptable and will not be tolerated) DO NOT USE: ChatOn, ChatGPT, GPT or any other app that is not your own work! 

• Take Final Exams and/or complete ALL Final Projects  

• Have a working camera and microphone on their Chromebook (they will not be allowed to take a final exam.  No exceptions will be made)

• Provide their own reliable internet connection.  It is crucial to have reliable internet access, especially if traveling.  If students have an interruption with their internet, they will NOT be excused from any assignments.  All work is still expected to be completed by the due date that is stated in the syllabus and module.

ONLINE CLASSES are extremely INDEPENDENT and there is no tutoring available.  Teachers will assist students through CANVAS email and Google Meetings

Edgenuity classes are NOT Innovation Online classes.  We do not offer credit recovery courses.
